phew! i've finally taken care of all my holy week/easter mass commitments and can finally catch my breath. i have to say, all the stress and exhaustion from the three days before easter made the schubert mass all the more worth playing. ugh, the music was beautiful, and in an old church with near perfect acoustics...? ugh. gorgeous. i did flub a few notes (mostly in the 'agnus dei'), but i don't think anyone noticed or even heard them considering the other instrumentalists practically overwhelmed the organ (which admittedly is unusual). one more performance to go!
[as a side note: i'm thrilled they finally charged kilpatrick and beatty... and with multiple felony charges!]
